Is Pittsburgh Perky?

The Tribune-Review ran a story about a few great places to work in SWPA. The theme is that these companies offer benefits that are very pro-employee. The reporter refers to the practices as "perks." I don't agree. To me, perks implies that this is above and beyond standard business practices. This is no longer the case.
